Solar Installation Service Areas
Local crews, one home base
We install from our headquarters at 150 Oakwood Rd in Lake Zurich, which puts most of Chicago’s north and northwest suburbs within a short drive for our crews — the same ComEd territory, the same village permit offices we work with week after week, and housing stock our parent roofing company has been climbing on since 1975. That local repetition matters in solar more than people expect: roof styles, tree canopy, and permit quirks differ noticeably from one village to the next.
Communities we serve
Arlington Heights
Everything from postwar ranches to teardown rebuilds — wide variety in roof pitch and shading, which is why we model each house rather than quote by ZIP code.
Barrington
Large lots and mature oaks: beautiful for living, complicated for rooftops. Microinverter design — and sometimes a fence-line array — earns its keep here.
Buffalo Grove
Subdivision-era homes with straightforward asphalt roofs — some of the cleanest solar installs in the area when the roof age checks out.
Deerfield
Established neighborhoods with mixed roof ages; we often find re-roof + solar bundling is the honest recommendation.
Glenview
From older blocks to newer construction around The Glen — newer roofs and open exposures make strong production candidates.
Highland Park
Ravine lots, tree cover, and design-conscious streets: all-black panels and building-integrated shingle options do well here.
Lake Bluff
Compact village blocks east of Green Bay Road and larger estate parcels west — two very different solar designs in one small town.
Lake Forest
Historic districts and premium roof materials like slate and cedar call for the careful options: building-integrated systems or ground/fence arrays that leave the roof untouched.
Lincolnshire
Wooded parcels and larger footprints — shade modeling first, then the system design follows the sun we actually measure.
Northbrook
Mid-century ranches with simple long roof planes — often ideal solar geometry hiding in plain sight.
Riverwoods
Famously protective of its tree canopy — and we design like it. Honest shade math, per-panel electronics, and alternatives when the roof isn’t the answer.
Not on the list?
These are the communities where we work most, not a boundary. If you’re anywhere in the north or northwest suburbs, request a free evaluation and we’ll tell you plainly whether your home is a good solar candidate.
FAQ
Do you charge for the site evaluation?
No — the consultation and home evaluation are free and carry no obligation. You get real numbers for your house either way.
Who handles permits and ComEd paperwork?
We do — village permits, inspections, and the ComEd interconnection application are part of every install, priced into the quote.
Are you local?
Yes — headquartered in Lake Zurich as the solar division of All American Exterior Solutions, serving Chicagoland since 1975. When you call, you reach the office that sends the crew.
